OK people reminded me that Bike Week is approaching as there are members with bikes but moreso because I have a house in Daytona Beach with no renters! SO we can vertually go on this trip for FREE! Throw me some free dinners, drinks, entrance fees and hopefully a coule people willl drive and you/we would've saved hundreds a night at a hotel! The house is a small fix'em up place so bring air mattresses, sleeping bags, etc.

SO we'll see how many sign up to this as people have stated we can do Nashville closeby anytime (but don't frett as we'll just delay it two weeks and do our first ever two trips in a month) but more importantly it'll give Dave time to look for a house to rent Mar 23-25 since so many want to go to Nashville and hotel rooms will be expensive.

Daytona Beach Bike Week, also called Daytona Bike Week, is a motorcycle event and rally held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Approximately 500,000 people make their way to the rally area for the 10-day event. The festivities include motorcycle racing, concerts, parties, and street festivals. The event is usually held on the first full week of March and contends with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as the most popular motorcycle rally in the United States.

Daytona has everything you have always wanted to see and more. If it is your first time at this bike rally you need to go to Main Street and ride on A1A. There are attractions not only in the Daytona area, but all over the surrounding areas. Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona alone has everything that you want to see and it is actually a traffic jam of motorcycles trying to get onto the property.

Ormond Beach and the Daytona Speedway have experienced a migration of vendors, events, and attractions. The Speedway has tons of different racing events for all types of motorcycles including the historic Daytona 200, motocross, super bike, and other races. The infamous bars also have lots of attractions including live music, biker contests, vendors, bikini contests, wet t shirt contests, and more.

If you want to see bike shows while at the Daytona bike fest, the Boardwalk and Rats Hole Custom bike shows never disappoint. As the fat tire, chromed to the hilt, over the top craze has slowed down you will now see more old school bikes and custom metric bikes as their popularity has grown.

Between Daytona Beach, the surrounding area, Ormond Beach, Destination Daytona, the local dealerships, and the world famous bars you will be able to see everything you want listed below and more. Bike Shows, custom bike builders, industry celebrities, motorcycle manufacturers, parts and accessories manufacturers, live music from top name acts, tons of biker contests, wet t shirt contests, poker runs, burnout pits, raffles, and everything else you can imagine.
